Scores

Larry composed scores for several films, dramatic television series, musical variety shows, and over 800 national television and radio commercials. A partial list of his credits includes:

  • The Gambler series starring Kenny Rogers
  • The Smothers Brothers’ Twentieth Reunion on CBS
  • The Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton Christmas Special
  • Songwriter starring Willie Nelson & Kris Kristofferson and produced by Sydney Pollock
  • A Short Film on Solar Energy, an Academy Award-nominated short subject film produced and directed by Robert Redford
  • CBS Sports Spectacular Main Theme, for which Larry was nominated for an Emmy award

Compositions

In 1986, Larry he composed his first symphony after receiving a grant from the Foundation for New American Music. His symphony, entitled Mojave, was inspired by his life long love of flying. The piece included a text written by John Stewart (formally with the Kingston Trio), and it was narrated by Mercury Astronaut, Scott Carpenter. Mojave premiered at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles and has been performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

Larry has also produced three recordings of his own instrumental music on the Skyrider and Voss Record labels.
